My very favorite advent is driving around the neighborhood and giving out awards for Christmas lights. I gave each kid a candy bar and a tag to write their award on. Things like "best overall" and "most colorful". Then they get to pick the house and go up and present the award. I'm not sure why we have Luke in snow clothes and Luana in a t-shirt and shorts.
