Tayson's Half Birthday

Since he has a summer birthday he gets to celebrate his half birthday at school.  He wanted me to bring Krispy Kreme's to his class and I think it was a hit.  Apparently 5th graders really like donuts.  :)

Luke's Bobcat

He finished his requirements a while back but I kept forgetting to tell his den leader before pack meeting.  But we finally got to do his bobcat.  I had Tayson take pictures....so it's a little crazy!

Haircut Time

Todd is the best guy ever I spend most Saturday mornings on long runs and he takes care of the kids.  This morning Tayson had a basketball game and I got home minutes before we had to leave and this is how my kids looked.  WOW.  But hey they are dressed and we made it to the game on time.

Work Trip

I had to take a quick 2 day trip to Vegas for a meeting.  And we had some free time between all-day meetings to hit a show on the strip too.

Todd's Checkup

Todd decided it was time to get a good old Colonoscopy.  Everything checked out and he's healthy...just a bit of infection (colitis I think) and some stretched out pockets.  But all in all he's a healthy fella.  Thank goodness.

A big win

They had a big win on their first game in the tournament.  Way to go Tays!!

Date Night

Dreamgirls was awesome.  The music and story was a blast and my date was pretty awesome too!

The hole

Tayson came home with a small hole in his coat and was sure he would have to throw it away.  Since of course I couldn't fix it.  Well I totally proved him wrong and did a fancy hand stitch to close that baby up.  Yep I'm a real homemaker!  Ha.

Playing in the Snow

Grandma came to visit so we decided to go play in the snow.  We went sledding and walked on the frozen lake.  

Saturday is a special day

This is a common occurrence at our house now that we have 9:00 am church.  The girls get curlers in their hair, I iron the boys shirts and we get everything ready so that we can get up and get to church on-time.  I love my girls in curlers.  I'm not sure if they are cuter in curlers or their curls the next morning.  Love.

Jr Jazz

 Tayson decided to play on 2 basketball leagues this year. He is doing Bantam (club) and Jr Jazz (city).  He loves his Jr Jazz team because it's all kids from his school and they have so much fun at the games.  He has 2 college age girl coaches (drives Todd crazy that he has a "chick" for a coach) and his team plays really well together.
