New Year's Eve Party

We had a blast doing our hourly activites and rang in the New Year east coast style.  I didn't get pictures of all the hourly activities because I was having too much fun playing with the kids.  But as always the best part of the night was the glow stick dance party!!!

New Years Goals

I ran 1588.80 miles this year.  WOW!  What a year of running it was for me.  I PR'd every distance race and ran more miles this year that ever before.  It has been sad to end it on a bad note with my tendonitis but all in all I couldn't be happier with my running in 2013! 

Skiing at Brighton

Oh how I love the mountains and snow and the fun that comes with skiing with my family.  It was a perfect day with good snow and bright blue skies.  The kids went to ski school and I got to ski with the adults.  FUN FUN FUN!!!

And after the day was over I went to the lodge to find my mom and kids sitting by and talking to Julie without my mom or Julie realizing the connection.  Julie and I sent this picture to Todd saying hello :)

Great-Grandma

Great-grandma is 90 years old and we love coming to see her at Christmas.  It helps make the trip completely worth all the driving and packing during the holidays.  It's always so sad to say goodbye but we are so grateful for the time we get to spend together and know that there is always next year.  We love you Grandma!!!

The Beach

It wasn't fast or pretty and it was very hot but I did an 8 mile run from Todd's house to the beach.

It was such a beautiful and warm day - I can't believe it is December.  The kids played in the water for hours and even had to put on sunscreen!

Disneyland

We knew we had to take Luana to Disneyland so we braved the crowds and had a blast.  Disneyland was so much fun and so festive.  I loved all the lights and Christmas themed rides.
