Great-Grandma

Great-grandma is 90 years old and we love coming to see her at Christmas.  It helps make the trip completely worth all the driving and packing during the holidays.  It's always so sad to say goodbye but we are so grateful for the time we get to spend together and know that there is always next year.  We love you Grandma!!!

The Beach

It wasn't fast or pretty and it was very hot but I did an 8 mile run from Todd's house to the beach.

It was such a beautiful and warm day - I can't believe it is December.  The kids played in the water for hours and even had to put on sunscreen!

Disneyland

We knew we had to take Luana to Disneyland so we braved the crowds and had a blast.  Disneyland was so much fun and so festive.  I loved all the lights and Christmas themed rides.

Road Trip

The trip down to Cali for the birthday was a quick one.  Tayson has perfect attendance in school and really didn't want to miss a day.  So Friday after school we got in the car and drove straight through.  

We stopped in Vegas for dinner and met Emily, the kids, Mark, Kayla and Hyrum for dinner.

Then drove all the way through - we got there around 10 pm with 4 sound asleep kids.

Todd flew back to Jackson from Cali so the kids and I got up early Sunday morning and piled in the car to drive back.  We made pretty good time and only stopped twice on the way home.  Thank goodness my kids are great in the car....if only Tayson could drive :)

Happy 90th Birthday

Great-grandma Pearson is 90 years old!!  Talk about a great reason to celebrate.  There is no way we were going to miss this party or the chance to celebrate such an amazing life.  The party was a blast and it is always so fun to spend time with family.  Even if it's only for a day.
