Boston - Day 2

Day 2 started with a run in Boston Common and down by the Charles River.  Sherry flew in on the red eye so she joined the crew.

Then we hit the Expo:

We did some shopping and went to lunch at Cafeteria.  It was delicious and right on Newbury.

That night we hit the town and walked around Harvard campus and then went to get dinner at Cheers.

Boston - Day 1

On the way to the St. George marathon I told the girls that if I qualified they were coming with me to Boston. Thank goodness Todd has plenty of sky miles and hotel points and loves to share them with me.  He treated us right and sent me on an amazing vacation with these amazing girls.  

 

The first day most of our time was spent traveling.  But we did have time to hop on the subway and go to the North end for amazing Italian food and pastries.

We might have bought way too many pastries.

And while were out we decided to stop by Paul Revere's house...not so exciting at night when it's closed down...but hey we saw it.  Can you tell it was cold?

First Grade Performance

Claire did a great job at her first grade performance.  She sang all the songs and her class even did a song in Portuguese.  I can't believe she is almost finished with 1st grade!!

Somebody got into the nail polish and decided to paint her face red.  

Picnic in the Park

Since we didn't go anywhere fun for spring break I decided to skip out on work a little early and take the kids to subway and the park. 

Garden Prep

It's that time of the year.  We have to freshen up the dirt and get ready for another year.  While the girls were working the boys decided to play mushball.
