My team got tickets to the Jazz game on the first row. It was so amazing!! I can't believe how close we were. Literally sitting on the floor. We got a fancy dinner at the 100 Club before the game too. SO MUCH FUN!!

Moroni and the Mayor
I am lucky to work right next to where the new Provo City Center Temple is being built. It was so sad to watch the Tabernacle burn down but has been so amazing to watch it become a temple. Because I work at Nu Skin we got front row seats to see Moroni being placed on top. Kami dropped off Sophie and Glen after school too.
Provo's mayor John Curtis was watching from the Nu Skin building where we were so when he came over to say hello I introduced Sophie to him. I told her how he was the one who was responsible for our new rec center and getting us Google fiber. Then they had a lengthy conversation about the band-aid on his thumb and how he got it and did it bleed and she showed him her injured finger nail. It was hilarious. He's a great mayor and an even better person. When Sophie got home she told the other kids all about meeting the mayor - but forgot to mention she got to watch Moroni get placed on top of the temple.
I love being greeted by Moroni every morning as I walk into work....and I find myself singing "High on the Mountain Top" almost every day :)

Nu Skin Christmas Party
Since Todd was gone this year I took Sophie as my date to the Christmas Party. Sophie loved being my date - she loves being an "indult". Leann Rimes performed this year and was so much fun. As always I am overwhelmed with the generosity of Nu Skin at Christmas. They are such an amazing company to work for.

Convention
My life this week was spent in Salt Lake doing hosting for our global convention. It was a huge convention with so many people - mostly from Asia. We had a blast and by the end I was so tired I thought I might pass out.

On Film
Talk about awkward. I had to be filmed for a work video about a new back office tool we are launching soon. I hate my hearing my voice recorded and felt so silly getting filmed. But it ended up great and I'm sure my team will find some good use of all the bloopers I made.

Goodbye Parking Spot
Today was my last day parking in my spot. They are tearing down our parking structure to create an underground parking lot and grounds for the new City Center Temple. I'm sad to lose my spot it was very convenient and now I have to walk 1/3 of a mile to get to work but at least it's for a good cause.

Work Trip
I had to take a quick 2 day trip to Vegas for a meeting. And we had some free time between all-day meetings to hit a show on the strip too.
A picture I sent Todd of me bored in a meeting
Todd decided to take Sophie up to Salt Lake to Chipotle
And to Scheels for a ferris wheel ride.

Orlando
Off I go again - to Orlando for kick-off meetings. I started and finished a new book (The Silent Governess).
Did some outside running with Mickey - this short trail nearly killed me off when I had to run 7 miles. I looped and looped and looped some more. I even added in some extra miles by running through the parking lot.
The view from my room
We took a midnight trip to Steak-n-Shake for Celina's birthday.
This time presenting on stage was a lot easier and Todd was there to watch. When I walked out on stage I heard a whistle and couldn't believe he would do that - then after he told me it wasn't him. Ha ha.
Todd met me for the weekend instead of flying home so we got to spend our date night at Downtown Disney. Eating delicious sundaes from Girhadelli's.
I did my first Zumba class - we had to represent in our Nu Skin workout gear. I'm not sure my body was made to shake like that.

Advent Day 10 & The Nu Skin Christmas Party
Sing and dance to Christmas music. The boys weren't home so just the girls and I sang and danced.
This year's work party was Michael McClean's Forgotten Carols and it was a family event instead of just couples. Good thing for me since Todd was out of town. The girls were very excited to wear their new Christmas outfits and they were all excited to go to a party with me. The kids were great the whole time and really enjoyed the music and show. They were up until 10:30 on a school night but it was worth it to have such a fun family event. Nu Skin was more than generous again. I got 2 weeks pay, $100 costco card, $500 amex card, and an Apple TV. I work for the best company ever.

Touring the new Nu Skin building
I got a chance this week to be part of a tour group to go see our new building. It was so fun to walk through the building that will be done mid next year. I'm not sure that safety goggles, a vest and hardhat are the best look for me but it was a blast.
