Happy 90th Birthday

Great-grandma Pearson is 90 years old!!  Talk about a great reason to celebrate.  There is no way we were going to miss this party or the chance to celebrate such an amazing life.  The party was a blast and it is always so fun to spend time with family.  Even if it's only for a day.

Tayson

Dude...pull your tooth out already.  It's totally dead and loose and just hanging there by a thread.  It took 2 more weeks before this tooth came out.  

With David in the bishopric he is gone at mutual every Wed night.  So Tayson and Luke alternate going over to play with or read to the big boys while Kami puts Clark to bed.  Kami sent me this picture of Tays playing with them.  I love seeing him make good choices and doing service.  I know how good it is for him to think of others and I love seeing him spend time with his cousins.

Sing Along

These girls LOVE Taylor Swift and they really love using water bottles as microphones and singing at the top of their lungs in the car.  And we always like a good dance party at stop lights. 

Date Night

This weekend date night was split into 2.  I took Tayson out and Todd took Luke out.  We left the girls with a babysitter then Tayson and I went to his basketball game, out to dinner and then grocery shopping.  Todd took Luke out to dinner and to see Shrek, the musical at Capitol Theater. 

Zeus

I couldn't wait until summer to get a new dog but we knew a puppy wouldn't work so Todd and I took the kids to the animal shelter.  There were a couple of good dogs but there wasn't time to fill out all the paperwork so we couldn't get one.  Then we got on KSL classifieds and there were so many great options.  And when we saw Zeus I knew I wanted him.  I grew up with a German Shepard and she had lots of puppies with the yellow lab that lived across the street.  The shepard/lab mix has always been one of my favorites.  So when I saw an add for a 4 year old male shepard/lab we called and went right over.  The minute we saw him we all fell in love with him.  He is beautiful and a really good dog.  He is extremely calm and well behaved.  But he does love to run away so we have to be careful when opening the door or he will bolt.

Goodbye Parking Spot

Today was my last day parking in my spot. They are tearing down our parking structure to create an underground parking lot and grounds for the new City Center Temple.  I'm sad to lose my spot it was very convenient and now I have to walk  1/3 of a mile to get to work but at least it's for a good cause.
