Last Day of Preschool

Somebody is all grown up.  I can't believe she is finished with preschool and will be going into kindergarten this year.  How is it possible that my sweet baby is so big already? Soph had a good year at school and when she tries does a great job reading and can write her name.  She loved her teacher so much and was always very excited to go to school.

Sophie's Christmas Program

Sophie's preschool program was so cute.  She was dressed as an elf and her part was "We wish you a Merry Christmas" - she nailed her part and was very excited to get to talk into a "real microphone".  She sang the songs great and did all the motions.

Preschool Party

Today was Sophie's preschool Halloween party.  She was so excited to wear her costume - especially so she could wear makeup.  She is a sassy little thing.  I'm pretty sure she's the cutest batgirl ever!!

Dad's & Doughnuts

Last week when I was in Orlando for work Sophie had mom's & muffins at pre-school.  I was  so sad that I had to miss it.  Todd was going to go in my place but instead Christine went.  Then this week it was dad's & doughnuts at her school and Todd was gone so Timmy took her.  She was very excited to take Timmy to school with her and he's second best to having dad there.  I am so grateful that my kids have so much family around who love them so much.

Claire's Preschool Graduation

Claire is officially graduated from pre-school. She did so great in her end of year performance. She sang and smiled and had a lot of fun. For being shy she sure does like to perform. Just don't ask her a direct question or look her in the eyes. I love that she can read simple books and write her name and cut and color and seems completely ready for kindergarten. Since I was on Sophie duty and Todd was taking videos Tayson took all the pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

Claire's Preschool Program

Claire's preschool put on a very cute Christmas program. They had lots of fun accessories (hats, noses, drum sticks, jingle bells, etc). She sang great and had fun. I let Tayson take the pictures - so there are lots of red eyes and a few crazy photos but he had fun being the paparazzi and I got to enjoy watching Claire sing.

On a side note: So that I could enjoy the performance Timmy said he would keep Sophie. But he was watching David and Kami's boys so I just dropped her off at their brand new house for a little over an hour. She managed to dump a full and very big bottle of bubbles over on their carpet. That girl!!! Earlier in the day she also broke 2 ornaments and one of my Grandma Jo's Christmas decorations (it was only an ash tray ... but still it was my grandma's).

Claire's First Day of Preschool

I can't believe Claire is already starting preschool. How did she get so old so soon? That means I have 3 leaving the house everyday and 1 who is dying to join them.

Sophie really wants to go every time the boys or Claire get their backpacks and shoes.
Oh how I love these 2 girls. They are too cute and keep me laughing. Everyone always asks me how close they are in age or can't believe I have 2 that close in age. And the funny part is that these 2 are the furthest apart at 26 months.

Claire loves her backpack.

Here she is at school (same one the boys went to)

My BIG girl.
I hope she likes school. I always worry about her since she is so shy but when I dropped her off she was quiet but didn't seem scared at all and there were definitely no tears. She was so excited to be going to school and she has already talked about her new friends.

Luke's School Program

Tonight was a completely different experience than Tayson's program last week. Luke was so excited about his program tonight. He wanted to put on his nice clothes and Todd even helped him put some product in his hair (although rather than rub his hands together then put it on lightly he just rubbed a big glob in the top). He was the first one to go sit in the chairs when we got there. He was on the back row and he kept shifting to make sure we could see him. He sang loud and knew all the songs. He was so darn cute!

He is just so cute!

His teacher wrote this on his end of year assessment: "Luke is very smart and a quick learner. He can focus on the task and is kind to others". I have to agree with her he is such a joy to have in our family.
