Don't Get Married...You're a Good Person

My younger brother Timmy lives with us and has for almost 2 years now. This is a great setup for us and we absolultely don't want him to leave. For a slightly higher food bill and a monthly subscription to World of Warcraft we have a built-in babysitter and get to go on dates every week (he even watched the kids for 10 days when we went on our cruise). Plus the kids adore him and he's a blast to have around. Tonight when he was leaving on a blind date we were talking about it with Tayson and Luke. They were asking why Timmy would go on a date...so Todd said "so he can get married" and Tayson reponds quickly with "but he's a good person we don't want him to get married!" After a few laughs and asking him why good people shouldn't get married he explained that he's a good person to have in our family so he didn't want him to get married and leave. Then Luke started asking why Timmy would want to go on a date with a girl since girls are "funny". Sadly, I found out tonight that Claire and I also fall into this uncool "funny" category in Luke's book. For now he only likes boys and can think that all girls are "funny". I'm sure he'll change his tune all too soon for my liking.

Yeah, well tell your boys that they all have cooties at our house! :)

And, Tell Timmy that he is a good person, and should try to avoid marriage as long as possible..j/k

And, I must have erased that skiing fall from my memory...didn't remember at all. I do faintly remember everyone cheering my on when we went down the run with all the little hills(What do you call those bulit up mounds of snow?) Remember how everyone was like, "Go Alice, you can do it?" So funny! They must have all witnessed the fall that I seriously have blocked forever...can't remember that part.

However, I do TOTALLY remember that day. SO FUN! Do you remember when we stopped up top for the photo and everyone was like Jeanie, don't life up your ski..don't do it..and we all came crashing down!! I like to remember the other people's falls!

Thanks for the memory! I may have to blog about that at some point..except I don't have that pic..one of us should have forked out the cash for that photo.

Cute story. I was reading your blog last night while the girls were brushing their teeth for bed. I clicked on the "charlie" video, and we have been watching it ever since! Eleanore, my four year old say's, "Charlie bit me..." all day. Too bad she sounds like forest gump.

Anyway, how is that potty training going? I need to get my 2yr. old on the band wagon. She is ready. I'm not.
