My very favorite part of decorating for Christmas is the top shelf in our living room. We put lights and trees and holly up. It started with just our snowmen then we added a few Santas. Last year we added a few Nutcrackers (and added a pirate nutcracker this year) and this we also added some presents under the trees. I love it! I love to just sit in the front room with a cup of hot cocoa and the lights off except the twinkle lights and the Christmas tree lights. It's so peaceful.
