4th of July

For the 4th of July we started out with my race then went straight to the parade (they were both on the same street).

During the downtime we all just stood around.
It was very hot but well worth the good times.
Milo and Gale met us there too.
I only had my running clothes and my race t-shirt. Nice.

This is the funniest picture of the parade. Todd was taking a picture of the girl doing a back flip but missed the flip and just got a picture of her butt. So funny. Hilarious!!!

After the parade we headed back home then in the afternoon had a fun bar-b-que and had the family b-day party for Jan. The kids (and adults) were pretty tired after dinner so instead of taking the kids out to see fireworks we put them to bed and watched a movie.

It was a great day. Happy 4th of July!
