Christmas Additions

This year we've added a few things to our Christmas decorations.

I got a box of decorations from my dad that belonged to my Grandma and Grandpa Schultz. I found this Season's Greetings ashtray in the box and really wanted to put it somewhere to remember Grandma Jo. I know it's crazy to have a 1970's ashtray in my house, but I love it!

I need a new picture of this one...but we put up several ornaments from the box too.

And the big addition....NEW STOCKINGS!
I have waited and waited to get matching stockings for the whole family. I didn't want different looks and fonts and colors all mixed together. Now that we have our 4 BEAutiful kiddos I was ready to order this year. I LOVE them! The only bad part is that they are huge and will be able to fit A LOT of toys and goodies.

Want to hear my secret tip for filling up large stockings? Go get the single servings of cereal that they sell, and put a couple of those in there. (Out here they sell them at larger gas stations/convenience stores, and sometimes at the grocery store.) I love them because they're big & cheap, and the kids love to eat sugar cereal on Christmas morning while I'm making the real breakfast. It's a win-win situation!
