The Cruise - Day 1

For our 10 year anniversary Todd and I decided to go on another cruise (without kids of course...it was our anniversary). Then we thought it would be fun to invite Danny, David, and Steve since they all have anniversaries at the same time as us. But why not invite everyone. We managed to get 7 of the 10 kids to come on the cruise with us. Next time we're hoping for all 10. We all booked the cruise back in the spring to make sure we would all be together. My parents agreed to watch the kids for us (I'm not sure if they'll ever do that again). When I asked them how it was my dad said "Sophie sure has A LOT of energy and Claire has a lot of attitude". Sounds about right to me.

On the first day of the cruise we all met at noon at Todd's house (well his mom's house) then packed into 2 minivans and headed over to the port. My awesome MIL and her friend chauffeured us to the dock so that we wouldn't have to leave our cars there. The lines went fast, the luggage made it on board no problem and we were ready to hit the Lido deck.

This picture pretty much sums up the first day of the cruise.
We ate a lot and laughed even more than we ate.

How fun! We went to Mexico on our honeymoon and always wanted to go back for our 10 year. But it looks like it's not going to happen with a new baby and parents who will be out of the country again. (No babysitters) Rats!
